We are delighted to announce that the Tregothnan Estate have chosen iSightCornwall to be their main charity of the year for 2019.
Home to the Boscawen family, Tregothnan is a living and working private Cornish estate, with a rich history dating back to 1334. It boasts the largest botanic garden in Cornwall and is the pioneer of the UK’s first tea plantations. The private gardens and arboretum may only be visited by prior appointment, however, for one weekend only, the estate opens its gates to the public for a charity garden open weekend.
The next charity open weekend will take place on the 13th and 14th April 2019 with all proceeds being donated to iSightCornwall. Entry to the estate will be from 10 am until 5 pm with the last entry to the garden at 4 pm. Children aged under 16 go free and dogs on leads are welcome.
Tickets are available to purchase from the Tregothnan website.
