A Challenging Year

With the past year and a half being one of the most challenging times that our staff, members and volunteers themselves have faced we are so grateful for all of their help.
Our telephone befrienders have helped our members and clients feel less lonely and isolated in lockdowns, our club helpers have continued to check on their members to ensure they are staying safe and healthy and many of our donation collectors have continued to raise vital funds or collect stamps for us during this difficult period.

Even those volunteers who could not do their usual roles due to Covid restrictions, such as volunteer drivers or office support volunteers have stayed in touch and continued to help the charity – many of them even picked up the phone and joined the ranks of our telephone befrienders!

A Thank You

This week we will be celebrating all of our incredible volunteers; our drivers; club helpers; admin supporters; telephone befrienders; store collectors and every other role which is filled or supported by a volunteer.
