Used stamps appeal
Collecting stamps is an easy way to help us raise money and you can donate for just the cost of a letter!
Did you know that you can help us to raise money by collecting your used stamps?
All you have to do is tear the stamp from the envelope, set it to one side until you have a small collection, and then simply pop them in the post or drop them into the Sight Centre.
This money is put towards our services, helping us to support people living with sight loss in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
How do I get involved?
Start collecting your used stamps – they can be first class, second class or even overseas stamps. They don’t need to be sorted but it does help if you can separate them into British and Overseas stamps. You need to leave a one-centimetre border of envelope or packaging around each stamp.
Pack your used stamps into an envelope or bag and pop them in the post with the right postage (please note; anything over 0.5cm thickness is now counted as a Large Letter by the Royal Mail and may need additional postage) to:

Let us do the rest!
The generous donations we receive help us to continue to provide our services across Cornwall, this includes setting up new clubs, visiting vulnerable clients in their own home and providing transport to those who need it.
Please note: From April 1st 2022 the way our Stamp Appeal works is changing and we will no longer be able to send out pre-paid envelopes due to a rise in the cost of the freepost service run by the Royal Mail.
Instead, we are asking our supporters to pay for the cost of the postage in order for us to make the most of your donation.
We are working with local businesses to create drop off points around Cornwall and we are always able to accept stamps at the Sight Centre in Truro if you have any difficulty posting your used stamps to us.
If you are a business or have a large amount of stamps we may be able to help you deliver them to us so please call us on 01872 261110.
We appreciate all of your support and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call us or email us at info@isightcornwall.org.uk
