See the difference we make and help us be the difference

This year we have reached out to the public asking for them to ‘be the difference’ to the lives of people in Cornwall living with sight loss. iSightCornwall is facing a 30% increase in demand on all of our services and our fundraising and donations are down – an unsustainable situation.

To ensure the charity is able to continuing helping people with sight loss in Cornwall, as we have done for 167 years, iSightCornwall launched a fundraising appeal in July to try and spread the word and gather support.

Asking the public to See the Difference. Be the Difference, the appeal launched in July sharing the message on bus shelters around the county, ads on social media, radio adverts and press coverage. We were so pleased to be helped by four of our fantastic clients – Jean, Barbara, Luci and Haydn who all featured in our coverage and shared their stories to help inspire people to support our work.

We were so pleased that our plea was picked up and featured on BBC Spotlight as well as BBC Radio Cornwall. iSightCornwall Chief Executive spoke to reporters about the situation and you can watch her interview on BBC Spotlight by clicking here or listen to our coverage on BBC Radio Cornwall here.
