What is a legacy gift?

A legacy gift is a gift left to charity in your Will. By making a Will you can ensure that your wishes, and the people and causes you care about, are provided for. After providing for your family and friends, remembering us in your Will means that we can continue to support blind and partially sighted people in Cornwall for years to come.

Legacy gifts make up a large proportion of our funding and we are grateful to everybody that has chosen to remember iSightCornwall in their Will. If you’re looking to leave a gift in your Will to an independent Cornish charity or would like to help people affected by sight loss for generations to come, it is simple to do and is free from inheritance tax.

It truly is a gift of a lifetime.

Free Will-writing service

If you need help to write your Will, we’ve partnered with a Will-writing organisation called Free Wills. The service is completely free and there is no obligation to leave a legacy gift to iSightCornwall.

Where our legacy gifts go

The legacy gifts we receive help us to support people living with sight loss in Cornwall. We’ve selected some fantastic stories to share with you, to show you exactly where our legacy donations go.
