The provision of a free TV license is a major lifeline for many older and visually impaired people who are subject to isolation & loneliness. Under new rules, up to 3.7 million pensioners will have to pay the £154.50 fee every year should they want to watch television. Low-income households where one person receives pension credit benefit may still be eligible for a free license.

If you or someone you live with is registered as severely sight impaired, regardless of their age, you may be eligible to receive a 50% discount on the cost of your TV Licence.
