Irene Butler, a regular member of the Dance Club in Townshend where she still loves to dance, proved that age is just a number when she turned 100 earlier this year. Irene’s friends helped her celebrate her centenary with a party at the club which was much enjoyed by all.
Townshend Dance Club
The Townshend Dance Club meet up once a fortnight on Thursday afternoons between 2:00-4:30pm in Townshend Village Hall. You can learn ballroom and sequence dancing or just sit back enjoy the music.
