Steve Cook has been picked to represent his country in the Visually Impaired World Bowls Championships in South Africa however has been told he will have to cover all of the costs himself!
Steve has been national champion four times in the past six years and is one of the favourites to win his category at the World Championships in Cape Town in March.
Steve is now trying to raise the £4,000 needed to pay for himself and his guide to make the 8,000+ mile journey.
