Charity of the year
If you are looking for a charity of the year to support, we would be delighted to be considered. With roots going back to 1856 when we supported miners who lost their sight in blasting accidents, we believe we’re Cornwall’s oldestcharity. All the money raised in Cornwall stays in Cornwall, just as it has done for the past 168 years.
Today the number of people with sight loss in Cornwall is 24,000, by 2030 that number will have grown to 30,000 so demand for our services is continuing to rise.
With your support, we can make a real difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people living here.
In return we support you with our social media posts, our website and our newsletter magazine, Outlook which is delivered to our members twice a year.
“When we were deciding on which charity to support, we didn’t have to think very hard.No-one else is doing what iSightCornwall does in Cornwall and a relatively small amount of money can make a huge difference.”
